This does not show many pictures of the property, but the house is beautiful! Really lovely , and full of character, but of course the land must be suitable for horses, so please comment!
Property #2:

Somehow I fell for this property, as I did the last one as soon as I saw exposed beam ceilings and the words 4 acres of open fields. Any ideas?

The house is nice, of course, and it does come with a suitable barn for my horse friends, as you can see in the picture. It may need a bit of touching up, but it seems lovely. Also, the ‘trek’ from the barn to the house seems quite doable!
Those were the only two I had time to look for, thanks for your help!
EZEKIEL
I personally like the 3rd, though like you said, the barn is going too need some TLC.
The first property would be my second choice.
can i move with you =D ? lmao
3rd it looks exactly like a ranch farm
Property #3 looks and sounds perfect, and already has a barn for your horses (though, as you said, it needs some touching up). And then property #2 would be my second choice.
Good luck!
1) has plenty of acreage, no barn, and a woodstove for heat, this means the house is cold in winter, hot in summer
2) like #1 except less acreage
3) like 1 and 2 except has “stable”
For me to live there, all three would need a better heating / air conditioning system,,and all of them , will need barns built before you can move horses in…..
Well it’s hard to tell from just the ads. Definitely give all three a thorough look in person. I like #2, but it doesn’t show the barn. Personally, I wouldn’t get more land then you can manage. For example, 48 acres seems like a lot.
I like the first. looks like plenty of room for horses..
3 has the most space would be the best!
I think the 3rd one would be best. You might be able to ask the sellers more info on the existing barn. Like when it was built and stuff. The land has been used with horses (judging by the pictures of horses) so you might be able to avoid many problems there instead of the other properties where you would be starting from scratch on accommodating for horses!
I think the third one is the best one to go with. I didn’t see any pasture in the first!
There are things to like about all three. I do like #1 the best probably, but being in Maine I would prefer a home with more than a single source of heat. Up here, we have three, with wood being primary because it is cheapest.
Are these all zoned for livestock? I mean, obviously the 3rd one is, but it looks like the barn is in need of help or a match.
*EDIT*
I like the 2nd one Emilie listed, BUT of the 5 acres how many in pasture? Is it fenced for livestock? What kind of heat does the home have & what kind of shape is the 3 story barn in. Makes me wonder, since they only showed it from quite a ways back. Aweful heafty price tag for 5 acres if they are unuseable & if the barn is in bad shape.
I actually have two new ideas for you. if you’re looking for a place with a barn and at least some acreage.
